Our Story

At Bagaro, we believe in the power of handmade products to make the world a better place and in the importance of supporting small family businesses. We also believe that our most important values are passed down from generation to generation and that traditions like cooking, crafts, or dance are what makes us human. The things we do in our homes can be as important as our work life and we want to contribute to a world where we value what happens inside our homes as much as what happens outside.

Bagaro was inspired by these values and our family’s love of handmade goods. My husband and I had always wanted to start a business together and with the support of our children, we started Bagaro in 2022.

 

 

To preserve our cultures and traditions, Juventino and I wanted to raise our children in the same way that we were raised. We began looking for ways to make our lives easier so we could spend more time with our family. We found an amazing solution in Bagaro which provides the opportunity to showcase the beauty of artisanship that continues to live on to this day.

We believe that what makes us unique is our ability to create beautiful and lasting memories through our designs. The perfect gift or accessory for any occasion is a Bagaro bag.  Our beautiful bags are handwoven by families in Mexico, inspired by the colors and patterns you see in small Mexican villages. We believe families are the fabric of society and our mission is to support families who maintain their culture and traditions through the artisan craft they have learned. Our bags are made from sustainable materials and are unique, just like the artisans who bring them to life.
